Call for Nominations

**Deadline Extended until 10/19/08**

Hey efurryone!! I am issuing a call for nominations for who will benefit from the donations from the Simply Siamese Frisky Fall Contest. There will be a $2 donation per entry, and then during voting, we will open up the donations to anyone who wishes to help raise more money.

In the comments, please leave your suggestion for who to give the donations to. The winner and 2nd place will be decided by a drawing when the winners of the contest are announced.

The nominations can be for an individual kitty, woofie, bun or other critter in need, or a charity that helps animals. You can nominate more than one. There can be more than one nomination per kitty or charity as well.

I hope to see a lot of nominations. This post will stay up until October 14.

We think IMOM.org is a great one.

(We might also be starting our own little project called "Stop our Grandma's Feral Colony From Further Reproduction", also known as "The Great Spay/Neuter Project". The Lady is still trying to see if some local organization can help with fixing 7 cats plus the litter of kittens the mom hasn't brought to the yard yet.)

There are so many that need help. Moki and Criz always come to mind. Percy is a good one. But donating to cancer research sound good as well.

For now we are going to vote for Percy and Criz.

I'll give you my proxy. There are so many worthy organizations that I just wouldn't know which one to choose.

We would suggest the Siamese Rescue.

well, we would suggest either the Winn Foundation cos of their work with feline lymphoma (and other things) which took away our Stormie and many furrends..but we would also suggest Siamese Rescue UK cos we think they don't have as many green papers as the SR in the USA, and don't have the same profile in order to raise much money...for £15 you can 'adopt' a Meezer at the Siamese Rescue for a whole year!
